Incredible $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
