I will dominate 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.

Ex twice world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
